10kv Dry Power Transformer Overview:

Epoxy resin cast dry-type transformer is a high-performance dry-type transformer characterized by superior electrical strength, mechanical durability, and heat resistance. It is an excellent choice for urban power grid transformation projects. Manufactured using advanced production and testing equipment in accordance with stringent technological standards, this transformer offers high reliability and a long service life. Depending on the application environment, it can be equipped with various levels of protective shell or without a shell. This makes it suitable for a wide range of environments including high-rise buildings, commercial centers, hospitals, airports, subways, tunnels, densely populated residential areas, as well as special environments such as oil refineries, chemical plants, nuclear power plants, and nuclear submarines.

10kv Dry Power Transformer Features:

·High Voltage Winding

The high voltage winding is vacuum-cast with epoxy resin containing fillers, significantly reducing discharge volume and enhancing the electrical strength of the coil. The inner and outer walls of the winding are reinforced with glass fiber mesh cloth, improving the impact toughness of the coil and its resistance to sudden short circuits. This ensures that the coil will not dry out or crack over time.

 

·Low Voltage Winding

The low voltage winding features a foil structure that resolves issues related to radial spiral angles during wire winding, ensuring more balanced ampere-turns. Radial cooling air ducts are incorporated into the coil design to improve heat dissipation. The winding solid layer is made from DMD epoxy resin prepreg cloth, forming a robust dry solid structure through overall dry solid molding.

 

·Iron Core:

The core is constructed from high-quality cold-rolled silicon steel sheets with a 45° full oblique joint structure. The core column is bound with F-grade weftless adhesive tape, and the core surface is coated with epoxy resin, effectively reducing no-load loss, no-load current, and core noise. Clamping parts and fasteners undergo unique surface treatments to enhance the  appearance quality of the product.

Dry Type Epoxy Resin Cast Power Transformer Advantage:

· Low Loss: Compared to SCB11 products, the no-load loss of SCB14 is reduced by over 15%, and load loss is decreased by more than 10%. This results in significant energy savings, making the operation both economical and durable.

· Low Noise: The noise intensity of SCB14 is more than 10-15dB lower than the current standard JB/T10088-1999 "6-220KV Transformer Sound Level".

· Low Partial Discharge: SCB14 exhibits very low partial discharge, controlled below 5pC. Both high and low voltage electromagnetic coils are cast under vacuum and pressure, resulting in a compact dry solid structure that is resistant, explosion-proof, and environmentally friendly.

· Self-extinguishing Properties: Coil materials, including glass fiber and other insulating layers, possess self-extinguishing characteristics, preventing arcs caused by short circuit faults. Epoxy resin does not produce toxic substances even at high temperatures.

· High Impact Toughness: The use of epoxy resin with fillers minimizes thermal expansion differences within the casting body, reduces curing shrinkage rates and thermal stress, and increases the hardness of the dry solid. The internal and external epoxy resin coating layer of the high and low voltage coils, contains prefabricated component lifting materials, creating a high-density structure similar to concrete. This enhances impact toughness, allowing the transformer to withstand sudden short circuit fault without damage.

The transformer core is built from premium cold-rolled, grain-oriented silicon steel sheets with a 45° full-bevel joint and a five-step lamination process. This design reduces no-load losses and minimizes noise, delivering higher energy efficiency and quieter operation.

Winding Specifications

  • ·  High-voltage winding: Manufactured with double glass enameled copper wire and insulated using H-grade glass fiber cloth and mat insulation. This ensures excellent electrical performance, strong mechanical properties, and resistance to thermal and mechanical stress.
