Materials & manufacturing
· Silicon-steel laminations — precision-stamped, oriented or non-oriented, with tight stacking tolerances to minimize eddy losses.
· Amorphous alloy cores — cold-rolled ribbon of amorphous metal for very low hysteresis and core losses; recommended where energy efficiency and payback are priorities. Typical no-load loss reductions are substantial vs. silicon steel.
· VPI / cast-resin insulation options — vacuum pressure impregnation and cast resin encapsulation provide moisture resistance and excellent electrical insulation for humid or polluted environments.
