How to judge the faults of dry type transformer？

Dry type transformer has no noise during its normal operation, but sometimes it will occur loud noise. It can determine whether the dry transformer is broken down or not by the noise. Generally speaking, if the sound of the transformer is abnormal, it shows that the transformer has a fault and needs to be repaired.  

● The dry type transformer is noisy. After the sound of the dry transformer becomes louder, there is an obvious noise, but if the current and voltage are normal, the vibration of the silicon steel plate may increase due to the loosening of the internal clamping and the role of the core screws.

● The dry-type power transformer emits a discharge sound. When partial discharge occurs inside and on the surface of the dry transformer, it will emit a sharp sound and emit a blue sound. In this case, if at night or in rainy days, blue corona or sparks are seen near the transformer jack, it indicates that the pottery is seriously polluted or the equipment fixture is in poor connection. If the internal discharge of the transformer is an electrostatic discharge in an ungrounded part or a poor switch connection discharge, the transformer will need a further test or stop the transformer.
